Meet David Wilson.

Get to know the man behind the movement, what he stands for, and his plans for Western Montgomery County and Legislative District 15!

A 23-year veteran of the United States Army. Two combat tours in Operation Desert Storm/Shield and Operation Iraqi Freedom. LTC(R) David Wilson, your candidate for Legislative District 15.

David Wilson served over 23 years as an Army Medical Service Corps Officer specializing in plans, operations, intelligence, training and security, and retired in 2010 at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. His career included two combat tours in Iraq in support of Operations Desert Shield/Storm, and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

After retiring as the Command Inspector General for the US Army Medical Research and Materiel Command, Colonel Wilson served six years as a project manager for the Joint Trauma Analysis and Prevention of Injury in Combat Program Office at Fort Detrick, Maryland.

Wilson was the first recipient of an Active Duty Scholarship award at Fairmont State College where he earned a bachelor’s degree in education. He was a Distinguished Military Graduate from the West Virginia University ROTC program and earned a Master of Science degree in Public Administration from Central Michigan University.

Personal Life

In early 2016 David started his own business allowing him to serve the public and assume more control over his busy schedule. Response Masters, LLC is a privately-owned security management company, helping organizations prepare for the unexpected crisis by customizing crisis management plans and training.

David lives in Poolesville, MD with his wife Sonnie Kim-Wilson, and his two sons. David’s hobbies include marathon running and motorcycles. His oldest daughter, her husband and two granddaughters live in Hagerstown, MD. His oldest son is a 2015 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and is employed by CACI. His step-daughter is a graduate of Florida State University and currently a law student at American University. His youngest son is a proud Montgomery County middle school student.
